If your regular team member is unable to work due to illness, we have a robust absence strategy in place to ensure you receive the same level of service.

Thanks to our large staffing pool of trained and qualified operatives, other team members can be quickly deployed to step in to cover for any absences. These individuals are available on short notice.

We encourage all of our team members to report illnesses promptly so we can plan ahead and make appropriate arrangements in a timely manner. Should this situation arise, you will be notified as early as possible in advance.

To ensure there are no gaps in service delivery, all our operatives undergo cross-training so they are able to perform multiple tasks and work across different clients and locations. If your main operative is on holiday, we can plan ahead and shift our resources from within our existing workforce, allowing all essential cleaning tasks are completed.

Upon the awarding of the contract, we will work in partnership with you to negotiate a suitable Service Level Agreement (SLA) tailored to your requirements and budget.

To deliver the requested services, we will create a schedule that suits the requirements of each location, at a time to suit you, so that you experience minimum disruption.

To maintain a professional appearance, all of our operatives are issued with Lightowler branded uniform and sensible footwear. To ensure we adhere to Health & Safety standards, we also issue Hi-vis and safety wear as appropriate.

Upon the awarding of the contract, we will use our industry experience to recommend suitable frequencies and schedules. To optimise your budget, we regularly review schedules and adjust them according to necessity and demand.

To minimise the risk of Health & Safety incidents, in accordance with our Training Policy, all operatives are required to undertake induction training and ongoing H&S training modules via our on-line training platform.

To maintain the standards required to obtain our ISO 14001 certification, we regularly assess and analyse the environmental effects of our cleaning activity.

Where it is required, we make sure our operatives conduct continued professional development training so they are aware of best practices in relation to minimising the production of waste and promoting the use of recycling. As a company which takes its environmental responsibilities seriously, we do not use any aerosol cleaning products as they emit harmful greenhouse gases which can damage the Earth's climate.

The environmental policy we use is available to all clients and employees, and is regularly reviewed by our senior management team to ensure its continuing suitability.

We are currently investigating how to switch to a fully electric fleet of vans so that we do not produce any carbon emissions whilst travelling to and from assignments. Over the next five years, we are taking the first step towards this by acquiring a hybrid van fleet that will significantly reduce our carbon footprint. We are also aiming to become a zero to landfill company by 2028.
